PublicationKa-Wai Yu's transcription of Robert Schumann's Cello Concerto in A Minor, Op. 129 for cello and string quartet, a version originally proposed by Schumann himself in 1853 but was rejected by the publisher, has been published by A-R Editions, Inc.This edition attempts to present a chamber version of the piece that Schumann would have intended. It was a common performance practice to have concertos accompanied by a string quartet in the 19th century (e.g. Chopin's piano concertos). The edition will also be a practical version for cellists, teachers, and students to play the piece without hiring an orchestra! Please call or email A-R Editions with inquiries or to order it. The set includes a score and five parts:608-203-2570 / 800-736-0070orders@areditions.comPublicity:Indiana University Jacobs School of Music

My movies and moving pictures: Take a look at some of the best movies of all time ;) These are some of my first practice runs, from Super8 cameras to modern camcorders. These cinematic impressions are from when I got married to my wife Sabine, the birth of our children Thomas and Susanne, and up to our vacation on the Maldives and mountain hikes in the Alps.
